Occupy Wall Street:

Occupy Wall Street:

I’m reading and watching the internet news.  I’ve read reports from The Wall Street Journal and I’ve read reports on the changes The Wall Street journal has made to the stories it has published on the web.  http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/10/01/new-york-times-blatantly-edits-article-about-occupy-wall-street-to-protect-police-image/

I was taken aback this week after hearing NPR and I believe Tom from On Point blow off a listener who was speaking about occupy Wall Street.  Tom simply let the question and concerns of the listener trail off into radio waves frequencies unheard by man so that he could change the subject to Russia, and then proceed to ask his panel of guest about Russia.  Why not ask them about the Occupy Wall Street and their opinion on it?  Shall I dare say The Wall Street Journal being a partner in NPR, could they maybe have you by your balls and thus have told you to not report on these events.   It couldn’t be a corporation could do this to news?

Watching and listening to the commercial news, the radio and print I am hearing that these Occupy Wall Street people are anarchist, socialist, freaks, unorganized and lack any meaning protesters have no singular voice.  Yes no voice yet to be heard by the corporate owned media, that most of America will listen to and trust and this lack of actual reporting of news will be the reason this effort may fall on the blind and deaf ears of hearing and seeing America.

These protesters from all accounts that I have read from Internet news or watched on the web via YouTube have all been saying that Occupy Wall Street is about Wall Street.  It’s about how they have been saved by the tax payers and bailed out yet those American who paid the taxes, who worked to help this bail out be paid for have been taken over the coals.  Lost homes, lost jobs and are loosing American Rights.  They have been abused and have had enough of Wall Street.  This is a cause and those people who are in the streets are Americans  and we as Americans should be proud of them.  They are not inciting violent protests, they are not hurling rocks or bottles or aiming weapons, they are protesting: something protected by our Constitution and one that should be protected by our Government.  These American protesters have a right to protest.

The current trend by corporate media is to make these protestors seem to not have a clue of what cause they are marching for however it’s easy to find a person with a cause and an opinion in a protest.  Sometimes the one cause can lead to other discussion and or heart felt feelings on other areas these protestors have as concerns.  This does not make them weak or unorganized it makes them Americans, it makes them free.  They are allowed to have a voice, the louder it is maybe the more will hear and the more that hear the more that will join and the more that join the quicker we see changes.

I find it appalling that people will get behind a US soldier on the streets of some Foreign country and tell me I'm not patriotic if I don't support them.  However it's these same people that ask me to support these troops that ask me not to support my fellow American who is on our streets trying to have their voice heard on injustices in our country.  If you don't agree with protesting don't do it but don't tell the protestor it's not allowed.  That is why the US Military is fighting in other countries because someone's voice was heard, although I worry the wrong voice was heard I have to admit my view is that they are protesting Terrorism and they are using weapons to protest Terrorism organized under one flag the American flag.  I support my fellow Americans fighting for our country today in New York.  As I worry the wrong voice may have been heard to send our troops to foreign streets maybe you worry the wrong voice is being heard by the Occupy Wall Street protestors, funny isn't it, no not really!  Why?  Because our voice the American voice is not whole it is not United there is another voice that is feeding the American People and that voice is corporate America, this voice should be heard but it should not be the "one voice" that speaks for America.  The Americans who have gathered in protest in New York gather as a voice trying to gain that voice lost in our country.  Please protect the protestors by reminding our leaders it is our voice that is being slowly strangled by Wall Street; the American voice.  Do not allow the corporate terrorist to run our country.  This is the voice I hear, the voice I feel is right the voice I believe those in New York who want to Occupy Wall Street are also hearing.
